Panel Meters and Software

A panel meter is useful in your process instrumentation system to display information such as process value and RMS value on a screen directly reading the contents of your system. We provide panel meters largely from manufacturer STATUS INSTRUMENTS, ranging from their simplest panel meters such as the DM720, up to the multi-purpose solutions such as the DM4500 range. The full range includes: ➤ DM720 – A compact panel mounted loop powered indicator that is designed to connect in series with a 4/20mA current loop and display the value in engineering units. Housed in a 48x24mm DIN standard panel mount case and provides 10mm high LED digits. The engineering range is programmed by using easily accessible push buttons. The design of the product means no external power supply is needed and it requires less than 5V from the current loop. ➤ Option pods can be applied to all panel meters above this level, which can be plugged in without dismantling or re-calibration. These provide optional outputs of programmable current and 2 x trip relays for alarm points. ➤ The DM3410 panel meter accepts RTD and Thermocouple inputs and displays the process value on a high efficiency daylight readable LED display. ➤ The DM3420 panel meter accepts Voltage and Current process signals and displays the process value on a high efficiency daylight readable LED display. A built in transmitter power supply is also provided. ➤ The DM3430 panel meter accepts high level Voltage and Current signals and displays the true RMS value on a high efficiency daylight readable LED display. ➤ The DM3600 is an intelligent digital panel meter that can accept inputs from a wide variety of sensors and display the signal digitally. The DM3600 is available in two models. The DM3600U which is a universal input panel indicator and the DM3600A, a universal panel indicator with totaliser functions. All functions are programmable via the integral front panel keys or via the optional RS485 serial communications port using the Modbus protocol. To facilitate integration into a SCADA system, an OPC server is available which also interfaces to the MEDACS, smart DIN rail Signal Conditioner product range, seamlessly integrating front and back of panel instruments. The DM3600 supports TFML (Transfer Function Module Library) i.e. the ability to download custom functionality by means of standard modules available online. This allows pre-written or custom control functions to be quickly and easily incorporated. ➤ The DM4500U accepts various types of sensors including Load Cell, PT100, Thermocouple, Potentiometer and Process current or voltage enabling the DM4500U to be used in a wide variety of applications. Output options are provided that include NPN / PNP, 2 or 4 relays, current / voltage and RS485 comms. The unit can be fully programmed from the front panel buttons or via the RS485 comms option. ➤ The DM4500F accepts various types of pulse and frequency sensors to display Rate, Totalise, Flow, RPM and Pulse Count enabling the DM4500F to be used in a variety of applications. Output options are provided that include NPN / PNP, 2 or 4 relays, current / voltage and RS485 comms. The unit can be fully programmed from the front panel buttons or via the RS485 comms option. ➤ The ACC4000/01 allows the user to wall mount any one of our panel meters in the DM3000 and DM4500 range.  Manufactured from ABS plastic, the ACC4000/01 is rated at IP65 and comes with 2 x M13 cable glands in the base of the enclosure allowing for easy power and signal wiring.
